24 people who were arrested for starting wildfires in Syria have been executed.

FOX’s Ashley Papa reports in this “Housecall for Health”:

These folks were arrested in October in the al-Khadra and al-Mazar areas of Homs, the former Syrian city of Homs, the days after the mass arson were reported. Syria tells us they’ve finished putting these guys to death.

They’re fired on, their bodies are thrown into a furnace and they’re set on fire. It’s believed that Bashar al-Assad has a personal vendetta against the al-Khadra tribe of Mennonite men, who used to live in Syria and have remained friends with many Syrian refugees and members of the Assad regime. This is one of the more gruesome examples of al-Assad rounding up and executing people in revenge for or because of some slight against him or his relatives.

It is believed that they’re all now buried in al-Khadra, Syria. However, we have found no proof of any of these perpetrators being the people who killed the children at Khan Sheikhoun.

Housecall for Health, I’m Ashley Papa.
